Hi Everyone - Happy New Year!

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to start our last semester at Soleado with our 5th Graders! Can you believe how much time has passed?

Below is a list of dates for the next 3 months to book in your calendars. You will get more information on all of it as the date approaches, but we know that the more notice we get on things, the sooner we can get it on the calendars, and make it.

Before we get to the dates, we do need parent help on a few things: 

1. Science Fair Judges Needed. (judge/organize entries, tally scores, plan Science Fair night)
2. HSA Nominating Committee (request school nominations, tally results, organize awards, plan lunch)
3. PTA Nominating Committee (help to determine next year's PTA Board)

The PTA will be doing another push soon to get everyone to join our PTA! The top 3 classrooms with 100% participation will receive a free assembly with a really fun magician!  Please CLICK HERE to join if you have not done so already.

1/14 3-6 p.m.  - Soleado Family Fun Night at Pump it Up!! - ! $15.00 pre order tickets, $17.00 at the door (60% goes back to our school). Pizza and snacks also available.
1/15- SSC (Site Council) #2   1:30

1/20 Quest Parent Night: Internet Safety MPR Ridgecrest 7:00pm-8:00pm

1/26 Math Info Night for Parents - No Kids please - 6:00 pm

Teachers from 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th will be breaking parents up into small groups and showing us how math is being taught to our kids in the classrooms. Ms. Murdoch will be there from 3rd Grade.
